I founded Avalanche Development to offer personal, high-impact technology work without the overhead of a large agency. Over a decade in the field has taken me from local small businesses to government agencies, and the common thread is always the same: clear communication and solutions that actually last.
I'm also a first responder, with over a decade of service in public safety. That work shapes how I build technology. When someone is counting on a system, it has to work the first time, under pressure, every time. I bring the same calm, dependable approach to every client, and I understand firsthand how public agencies operate.

Who will I actually be working with?
You'll work with me, Mike Meikle. Avalanche Development is a one-person studio by design. There are no account managers or handoffs; the person you talk to on the first call is the person who architects, builds, and supports your project.
What kinds of organizations do you work with?
Primarily small businesses and government agencies in New Jersey, plus remote clients nationwide. Typical projects range from marketing websites and member portals to internal scheduling and tracking applications.
How much does a typical project cost?
It depends on scope, but because there's no agency overhead, pricing is significantly leaner than a traditional firm. After a free initial consultation, you get a fixed written quote, so there are no surprises at the end.
